Application of Multichannel Active Vibration Control in a Multistage Gear Transmission System

Gears are the most important parts of rotating machinery and power transmission devices. When gears engaged in meshing transmission, vibration will occur due to factors such as gear machining errors, rigidity, impact. The traditional FxLMS algorithm, a common active has been widely studied applied system control recent years. However, it is difficult achieve good performance convergence speed precision at same time. This paper proposes variable-step-size multichannel algorithm based on sampling function, which accelerates initial stage iteration, improves accuracy steady-state adaptive stage, makes modified more robust. Simulations verify effectiveness algorithm. An experimental platform for secondary built. A piezoelectric actuator installed an additional shaft form structure equipped with signal acquisition system; proposed experimentally verified. results show that accurate than can be increased up 123%.
